Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA, also known as acrylic glass) is a glass-like plastic which, in contrast to real glass, is unbreakable and robust. PMMA has excellent light transmission, is colourless and has a high degree of hardness. It is also characterised by its frost and heat resistance and, with special surface treatment, it is excellently scratch-resistant – making it suitable for the most diverse types of protective walls.
